Long Hours, Short Weeks
This year my life changed pretty dramatically, the main things being the birth of our son and moving to a new place in Prague.
I started spending much more time in our neighborhood, walking the same streets over and over again, early in the morning, late in the evening, anytime necessary, but always with him and a camera around my neck.
The first months I saw the places we walked through as boring and very repetitive. Empty streets, mostly fenced family houses and the same old colors of Prague.
But having to go out with him regularly I noticed that it slowly made me look at stuff differently. The process is very meditative. I learned not to expect anything (not only from the pictures) and just appreciate being in every moment.
The pictures that started to appear to me feel like they are about the experience of being a new parent but also about meditation and learning to appreciate life as it is.
